old story that i found...
I barely had anything written down, only like 264 words. But, maybe someone could give me some feedback on where to proceed because I kinda really like the plot, xD.
So, here it is :
“Hey, it’s Percy. Um, go ahead and leave a message after the beep…”
Beep
“Seaweed Brain? It’s me. I’m engaged! Call me as soon as you can…I have to talk to you before you say anything. And do not, under any circumstances tell Nico or I wi –“
The machine made a loud screeching noise as I jumped over the couch to make it to the phone.
“ – ouch! Hello?”
“Percy?! Oh, thank god. I thought I’d have to explain everything on the machine and then it would be so awkward, and oh my god, thank you so much –“
I cut her off, heart racing. “Wait. You’re engaged. As in, someone asked you to marry him and you said yes?”
She laughed, “Yes, what else would it mean, you dork?”
I sat down onto the couch, my head reeling. “Thalia, I know you told me it was serious, but…I haven’t even met the guy. And now you’re engaged? Just like that?”
She sighed on the other end of the line, “Percy. We’ll still be best friends. And you have Nico, and Grover, and even Rachael!”
It was my turn to sigh. “I know. Can I at least meet the guy. Get the best friend stamp of approval? Oh, wait,” I laughed, “you don’t need it.”
“Percy.” I could hear the anger behind her voice.
“Thalia,” I imitated.
“Percy. Fine. Saturday night, at 10. Don’t you dare be late.” The dial tone beeped loud in my ear.
“It’s a date,” I said aloud to the air.
So, anyone have ideas were to go from here?
